Who we are and what we do
RALF Partnership is part of the IBD Partnership, a British education and business consultancy managing education projects from the EU and beyond. IBD has been working for over 10 years and currently cooperate with more than 15 EU countries welcoming around 1000 students each year.
Established in 2019, The RALF Partnership has developed a wide network of local and international partners. We have advised local and national governments, blue-chip companies, SME’s, individuals and numerous associations. We care about our partners and clients and ensure we adapt to their needs and provide an individual service to each and every client we work with.
We offer the following services:
Work placements and internships
Seminars, workshops, and professional visits
Courses for teachers and professionals
Accommodation: hotels, host families, shared accommodation and student residences
English language courses in our own certified language school
Local transport and airport transfers from and to any airport
Cultural visits to the most famous Irish cities and sites, and other free-time activities
Administration, monitoring and regular meetings with the project participants
Documentation: Certificates, Europasses, Final reports etc
Our administration services include:
Finding a work placement according to students’ profile and experience,
Providing accommodation and other services
Documentation during and after the project
Welcoming students, taking them to their accommodation and providing welcome packs including individualized maps, SIM cards, free time suggestions etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcoming students when they first arrive to Limerick and organising their individual transfers to each host family. Travelling with students to ensure safe arrival and be present for initial introductions with their hosts.
Presenting who we are, what we do and our programme to students during their initial orientation day
Introducing students to their work placements/companies and ensuring they settle in on their first day
Liaising with students during their stay to ensure the overall experience is beneficial to both students and the business they are working with
Weekly meetups with each individual group to ensure open lines of discussion and consistent support during their stay with us
Providing support to the students throughout their stay in and out of office hours
Helping students to resolve any issues or concerns that they may have quickly
Providing support to the rest of the RALF team throughout the student’s time in Ireland, including preparing welcome meetings and arranging celebration ceremonies
Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
Requirements:
Full Clean Driver’s Licence is essential
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
Proven problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational and planning skills
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable (I.e Class Rep or working with young adults)
Flexibility to work evenings/weekends is essential
